We were honored to have the privilege to share even just a portion of our story at Church last week. From trials and tribulations throughout childhood, to marital strife and the gift of gracious reconciliation , and now the testing of our faith watching our children fight for their lives, we have learned to truly count it all joy!
Our prayer is that through all we endure others may see that there truly is HOPE. There is hope greater then we could ever imagine even when things look bleak and insurmountable. We have seen many miracles and we continue to lay all of our burdens down at the foot of the cross.
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that our suffering produces perseverance; perseverance character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:1-5
This past Sunday our daughter Elenia reminded us that we have hope: and therefore we are here to worship and worship is what we will do no matter what. Her spirit and positive attitude about her brothers is an example of compassion to all. Her diligence in prayer is indescribable and teaches us to cry out to the Lord because He does hear us when we pray. She inspires us day in and day out as she struggles herself in this fight for her brothers. God bless you sweet Elenia. You yourself are a miracle and we love you.
I hope this short clip of her singing blesses you as much as it did us last week.
